Geroskipou Town Hall - Aphrodite's Garden

In the village of Geroskipou, known for the most famous delicious sweets Loukoumia, civil wedding are held at the ancient aqueduct Kato Vrisi located within lovely patio gardens.

From hundreds of years ago till the recent years the water - which is still running - was used to refresh residents and their animals.
Women not only gathered here to wash but also to discuss marrying off their children.
After all, this is Aphrodite's Garden!
